Wi-LAN Subsidiary Flexiworld Innovations Acquired Portfolio of Patents

Wi-LAN Inc.’s (TSX:WIN) subsidiary Flexiworld Innovations Inc. has entered into a partnership to license wireless communication with peripheral and mobile devices.
According to the press release:

“This partnership aligns with Wi-LAN’s strategy to help companies and inventors unlock the value of their intellectual property through licensing valuable, high-quality patents,” said Jim Skippen, president and chief executive officer of Wi-LAN.
The new portfolio is one of over 50 portfolios that Wi-LAN has available for licensing.
