Mogo Finance Technology (TSX: MOGO; OTCQX: MOGOF) announced the release of the Android version of the MogoApp. Mogo’s Android app is the first Android app in Canada to provide a free credit score with monthly credit score monitoring.
As quoted in the press release:
“In our view, the mobile app is the heart of a digital banking experience, and it’s how more and more Canadian consumers will access and manage their finances,” said David Feller, founder and CEO of Mogo. “While the banks are challenged to deliver a truly digital banking experience because of legacy technology, at Mogo a consumer can open an account in as little as 3 minutes, through either our iOS or Android app, and access their credit score for free, a personal loan if they need it, a mortgage, and our new digital spending account. Over the next few years as banking gets more digitized, consumers will continue to look for more convenient and transparent options outside of what the big banks offer, and we intend to continue to lead in offering innovative options, with lower rates and fees, that help Canadians save time and money.”
“According to IDC, Android is the leading smartphone operating system globally,1” continued Feller. “With more than 350,000 Mogo members and growing, the Android app will support the continued growth of our member base and attract more Canadians to our innovative digital financial products.”
Mogo’s Android app is the first Android app in Canada to provide a free credit score with monthly credit score monitoring. Canadian consumers can download the free MogoApp in the App store and Google Play store and get their free MogoAccount in 3 minutes with access to Mogo’s innovative products that are designed to help consumers improve their financial health.
