Internap (NASDAQ:INAP) and InSync Healthcare Solutions announced a multi-year deal for custom managed cloud solutions. Internap provides high-performance data center and cloud solutions to protect customers data. InSync provides health care solutions including medical transcriptions services, EMR and practice management software to healthcare professionals.
As quoted in the press release:
“Industry leaders in the healthcare technology space, like InSync, require the ultimate level of customer data protection and systems to meet complex Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, or HIPAA, compliance and auditing requirements,” said Andy Day, Chief Operating Officer, INAP. “INAP is proud to partner with InSync to deliver these winning solutions and ultimately meet company’s strict security and business continuity requirements.”
“The protection of our customers’ data is our top priority. We know their efforts to effectively treat patients by the thousands of providers who use InSync each and every day could be compromised without sufficient data security,” said Trent Baker, chief information security officer at InSync Healthcare Solutions. “This partnership with INAP will only strengthen our security capabilities further, while allowing our clients to trust in the reliability and performance of our leading technology solution.”
