Gatekeeper Systems (TSX.V:GSI) announces the release of its XVAULT™ Video Evidence Management System, an enterprise platform software application that manages videos from law enforcement body cameras and other mobile video systems. It also announces that it has entered into discussions with a leading software solutions and services provider, with revenues of approximately $3 billion, to develop a combined product solution for its customer base of U.S. law enforcement agencies.
According to the press release, the new management system has multiple features:

The XVAULTTM Video Evidence Management System, which is included under the XFORCETM brand of products along with body-worn and in-car camera systems, provides a solution for securely storing and managing video from body cameras and will expand to include managing video from in-car police video systems, security cameras, cell phones and broadcast video.  The XFORCE TM products are fully integrated to meet the surveillance needs of law enforcement agencies. The in-vehicle computer aided dispatch software system can wirelessly control body-worn cameras through stop/start recording and assigning smart-tag analytics for future search and retrieval. Other software systems can be integrated, including Police Records Management Systems, Command and Control software for Department of Homeland Security applications, or Enterprise solutions that interface with security cameras and other devices including video analytics and access control.

President and CEO of Gatekeeper Systems, Doug Dymet explains:

Our expanding technology and product lines are attracting tier one software providers interested in integrating our complete end to end solution for HD body worn cameras. . . . We are in late stages of discussions with a leading Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) software company, currently servicing approximately 800 law enforcement agencies across the United States.  The combined solution would provide a unique solution for managing body camera video while providing certain command and control functionality from dispatch software.
