Cyren (NASDAQ: CYRN) has announced Ben Carmi as the company’s new senior vice president of products and Dan Maier as vice president of marketing.

Cyren (NASDAQ: CYRN) has announced Ben Carmi as the company’s new senior vice president of products and Dan Maier as vice president of marketing.
According to the press release:

Carmi is responsible for developing and delivering on CYREN’s product vision, as well as overseeing the company’s global product management teams. He joins CYREN with more than 13 years of product leadership experience, most recently as vice president of product management at Radware. He has also held key product roles at Check Point Software and RiT Technologies. Carmi graduated from Tel Aviv University with both a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering and a master’s degree in public policy. He is based in CYREN’s Israel office.
Maier is responsible for CYREN’s global marketing activities, including corporate marketing, product marketing, demand generation and public relations. He has more than two decades of experience in senior marketing roles in the technology sector, most recently serving as senior director of product marketing at Zscaler, a leading player in cloud-based Web security. He previously held vice president of marketing positions at Tumbleweed, Convirture and DecisionView, among others. Maier holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Stanford University and an MBA from UCLA. He is based in CYREN’s Palo Alto, California office.
