The funds will be used for the development of EPM’s sulfate of potash project at the Sevier Playa in Utah.

The company has royalty permits in Australia’s Cooper Basin, as well as a project in British Columbia. Newport announced on May 7 that it is planning the next expansion phase of its Bauer facility, but no further news was released last week.
