Silver Investing News reports silver price decline about 4 % with investors confidence in market recovery pushed precious metals down and equities up.
The markets are operating under an influence of hopeful optimism as investors see promise in positive financial reports from US companies and banks. Sixty two per cent of the Standard & Poor’s 500 stock index-listed companies that have reported their first-quarter earnings have “beat Wall Street expectations,” the Associated Press reported.
