The comparative study illustrates that silver’s downtrends have lasted for about three to three and half years, so one could expect the metal to find a long-term bottom sometime in the second half of 2014. The current bear market seems most congruent with that of 1983-1986, suggesting that there is still scope for one last slump which could potentially complete the downtrend in August or thereabouts.
