Silver Standard Resources Exceeds Silver Production Guidance for 2012

Silver Standard Resources Inc. (NASDAQ:SSRI,TSX:SSO) provided updates on its 2012 production at the Pirquitas mine in  Argentina.

As quoted in the press release:

Exceeded silver production guidance: Produced 8.6 million ounces of silver in 2012, exceeding the high-end of the guidance range.  Produced 11.2 million pounds of zinc, near the high-end of 2012 guidance.

Silver Standard’s President and CEO, John Smith, said:
