Silver Slides in Reaction to Fed Announcement, Touches $19.90/Ounce

Reuters reported that silver took a major hit , leading other precious metals down, skirting lows not seen in almost three years.

As quoted in the market report:

Silver was the biggest faller among the precious metals sliding more than 6 percent to a session low at $19.90 an ounce, its weakest since September 2010. The metal was later down 5.8 percent at $20.13 an ounce.
