Silver prices increased today after hitting a two-month high the day before.

Silver prices increased today after hitting a two-month high the day before. Silver futures for September delivery were up $0.172, to $21.515 an ounce, Kitco reported.

Traders are waiting for new US economic data that is expected today. Many believe it will show the economy is improving, meaning that the Federal Reserve may taper its monthly bond-buying program as a result.
