Russian President Vladimir Putin’s declaration that Russia will only use military force in Ukraine as a last resort has bolstered investors’ confidence in the global economy, at least for the moment. Investors are now awaiting the release of data later in the week, including ADP job figures on Wednesday, a European Central Bank statement on Thursday and US nonfarm payrolls on Friday.
