Silver at $19.28 as Investors Process Today’s US Data

This morning, silver fell $0.12, or 0.62 percent, hitting $19.28 an ounce, according to Reuters.

Precious metals investors are processing today’s US data on durable goods orders and overall consumer confidence before they take firm long-term positions.

Reuters notes that though the appeal of such metals has been strong this year, rising Asian equities and low trading volumes on the physical side have led to subdued prices recently.
