Orex Minerals (TSXV:REX) has commenced a new round of diamond drilling on the Sandra Escobar Silver Project in Durango State, Mexico. The Phase-III drilling program will consist of 3,000 metres in 20 to 25 drill holes.
As quoted in the press release:

The Sandra Escobar Project is being advanced by Orex under an option agreement with Canasil Resources Inc. – (TSX.V: CLZ)(“Canasil”).
To date, Orex has drilled 4,500 metres in 38 diamond drill holes in the southeastern region of the project. Thirty three of these holes are being utilized for a soon to be announced initial resource estimate (see Orex news release 11 May 2016).
Orex’s President, Gary Cope says, “As we look forward to the results of metallurgical testing and the initial resource estimate, we are pleased that diamond drilling is once again underway on Sandra Escobar.”
The service provider, Kluane Mexico S.A. de C.V., a subsidiary of Kluane Drilling Ltd. (“KDL”) is an experienced diamond drilling company, with a service and supply office in Durango, Mexico. A KD-1000 man-portable drill rig will be used for HTW and NTW sized wireline core diamond drilling. This portable rig design minimizes the social and environmental impact of the planned drilling program.
