MacPhersons Extends Nimbus Mine Life to 5.5 Years

MacPhersons Resources Ltd. (ASX:MRP) announced that it has extended the life of its flagship Nimbus silver-zinc-gold mine by increasing its underground ore reserve by 60 percent.

MacPhersons Resources Ltd. (ASX:MRP) announced that it has extended the life of its flagship Nimbus silver-zinc-gold mine by increasing its underground ore reserve by 60 percent.

Specifically, eight months have been added to the underground production schedule, extending the mine’s life to 5.5 years.

As quoted in the press release:

The Company has received a preliminary underground mine study which has increased the underground ore reserve by 60% to 741,655t @ 270g/t Ag-Eq for 6.43 million ounces Ag-Eq and the overall ore reserve to 12.37Moz Ag-Eq (8.3Moz silver, 44,000t zinc, 4,800oz gold) (this does not include the gold reserves from Boorara-Coolgardie gold operations which will be operated concurrently with Nimbus).
