Hochschild Mining (LON:HOC) reports that the company’s production fell 12 percent in the third quarter. The output dropped at all of its mines, but it kept its full-year target.
The press release is quoted as saying:
It produced 6.6 million silver equivalent ounces in the third quarter, comprising 4.5 million ounces of silver and 34,400 ounces of gold, down from 7.5 million ounces in the year-earlier period. The company said it was on track to achieve its 2010 production target of 26.3 million silver equivalent ounces.
