Golden Arrow Posts Final Drill Results of Phase III Program at Chinchillas

Golden Arrow Resources Corp. (TSXV:GRG) released the results of the last drill holes from a 9,000-meter Phase III drill program at its Argentina-based Chinchillas silver project.

Golden Arrow Resources Corp. (TSXV:GRG) released the results of the last drill holes from a 9,000-meter Phase III drill program at its Argentina-based Chinchillas silver project.

As quoted in the press release:

Drill holes CGA-127 and CGA-129 demonstrate the expansion of known mineralization to the northwest of the existing Chinchillas resource and the direction remains open for continued expansion. In addition, drill hole CGA-126 is expected to add to the Chinchillas resources at depth. Highlights from the drill holes include:

  • 31 metres averaging 186 g/t silver, 2.4% lead and 2.2% zinc, (334 g/t silver equivalent) at 165 metres depth in CGA-126
  • 34 metres averaging 209 g/t silver and 1.2% lead (248g/t silver equivalent) at 118 metres depth in CGA-127, including 5 metres averaging 1,091 g/t silver and 3% lead (1,188 g/t silver equivalent)
  • 22 metres averaging 212 g/t silver and 2.6% lead (296g/t silver equivalent) at 91 metres depth in CGA-129, including 7 metres averaging 515 g/t silver and 5.7% lead (699 g/t silver equivalent)

Brian McEwen, vice president of exploration and development at Golden Arrow, said:

The extent, grade and continuity of these results exemplify the Chinchillas project. These holes provide an excellent ending to a very successful drill program and we are now looking forward to updating the resource and moving the project towards feasibility.
