Fortuna Reports up to 1240g/t Silver over 5.9m in Mexico

Fortuna Silver Mines Inc. (TSX:FVI) reported today new drill results from their Trinidad North discovery at their San Jose mine in Mexico. Results from the seven holes drilled in April and early May include estimated true widths of 19.3m at 736 g/t silver and 4.76 g/t gold and 5.9m of 1,240 g/t silver and 6.94 g/t gold.

Jorge Ganoza is Fortuna’s President and CEO and is quoted saying:

What is starting to emerge from this discovery is a new zone with consistent grades and thicknesses comparable with the best silver deposits in the world.
