Dia Bras Starts New Drill Program at Peruvian Project

Dia Bras Exploration Inc. (TSXB:DIB) announced that it has begun another drilling program that is aimed at increasing resource tonnage and categories at three ore bodies at its Peru-based Yauricocha silver-lead-zinc-copper-gold mine.

As quoted in the press release:

Three new diamond holes have been drilled in the Antacaca orebody, 8 in the Rosaura orebody, and 19 holes in the Catas orebody.  These deposits are within the Central Mine Area where the Company’s mining is focused.

Danial Tellechea, Dia Bras’ president and CEO, commented:

This second drilling programme being conducted by the Company is designed to expand the mine’s resources and demonstrate how extensive mineralization is in the Yauricocha Central Mine Area.  We expect to increase our resources and issue an updated resource calculation early next year.
