Big new silver mining equipment order for Atlas Copco

Minweb reports that Swedish headquartered Atlas Copco has received an order from major Mexican silver miner, Fresnillo PLC, valued at approximately US$45 million.

The market news is quoted as saying:

The order is for underground drill rigs for silver mining and for rock reinforcement as well as products for loading and haulage. The products will be used for new development, production and expansion of the Fresnillo Silver Mine in Mexico.
