Gold Zones on Sirios’ CHEECHOO Property Intercepts 7.24 and 1.52 G/T
SIRIOS (TSXV:SOI) announced that it had intercepted two gold zones on it’s CHEECHOO property. The first zone contains 7.24 grams per ton over 7.9 meters while a second zone contains 1.53 g/t over 19.5 meters.
SIRIOS (TSXV:SOI) announced that it had intercepted two gold zones on it’s CHEECHOO property. The first zone contains 7.24 grams per ton over 7.9 meters while a second zone contains 1.53 g/t over 19.5 meters.
According to the press release:
SIRIOS is pleased to announce the latest results of the diamond drilling program undertaken last October on the CHEECHOO gold property, in the region of the Eleonore gold mine of Goldcorp in James Bay, Quebec. Two separate gold zones were intersected by drill hole #18. The first zone consists of a high grade section of 7.24 g/t Au over 7.9 m who is part of a larger section of 33.5 meters grading 2.02 g/t Au, while the second one graded 1.53 g/t Au over 19.5 meters including a section of 2.04 g/t Au over 8.8 m with the presence of visible gold.
Dominique Doucet, president, said:
As mentioned previously, with each new hole, the project CHEECHOO continues to improve. Drill hole #18 adds sections of several meters in thickness with increasingly high gold grades which are included in intervals in the order of tens of meters now ranging between 1 g/t Au and 2.9 g/t Au. Additional new drill holes will allow us soon to connect with a certain degree of confidence, various already intersected gold zones such as to assess their lateral extents that are potentially of several hundred meters.
