Sutter Gold Mining Inc (TSXV:SGM) announced the results from the Second Phase of the Lincoln Mine Project diamond drilling campaign, including the discovery of two new gold-bearing veins.

As quoted in the press release:

– West Vein discovered at shallow depth west of the main structural trend

– More significant East Vein lies along greenstone & argillite/meta-volcanic contact

– Drill hole DDH-207 (East Vein) returned 40.65 g/t (1.19 oz/ton) over 1.8 feet

– Drill hole DDH-215 (West Vein) returned 13.54 g/t (0.395 oz/ton) over 1.4 feet

Leanne Baker, President & CEO of Sutter, commented:

Drilling within the Lincoln Mine area of the Mother Lode achieved its three goals of infill drilling to increase near-term gold resources, exploring the zone between the Lincoln and Comet segments of mineralization, and probing for extensions of gold mineralization north of the Comet resource area towards the Keystone zone. We have intersected two previously undiscovered gold-bearing veins, one at shallow depth and a deeper more significant vein system that will be followed up once we are able to access it through underground drilling.
