Trelawney Intersects 356.00 Metres of 1.35 g/t Gold From Continued Expansion Drilling at Cote Lake
Trelawney Mining and Exploration Inc. (CVE:TRR) reports the results from 9 additional holes drilled on the Côté Lake deposit on the Chester project, northern Ontario.
The press release is quoted as saying:
The results are from the ongoing expansion and infill drilling on the Côté Lake Deposit. Drilling continues to intersect wide zones of low to moderate grade gold mineralization.
Highlights of the current drilling include:
- Hole E11-72 – 30.0 metres of 0.92 g/t gold
- Hole E11-74 – 126.00 metres of 0.82 g/t gold
- Hole E11-76 – 91.00 metres of 1.41 g/t gold
- Hole E11-77 – 303.00 metres of 1.27 g/t gold
- Hole E11-78 – 356.00 metres of 1.35 g/t gold
Drill holes E11-77 and E11-78 are both located on section 88+00E, collared 85 metres apart and drilled south at ~47 degrees. This section is 100 metres west of the currently defined resource estimate. Updated sections and drill plan will be available shortly on the Company’s website.
Trelawney’s President and CEO, Greg Gibson says:
“We are very pleased with the continued significant results of the step out drilling, and believe that this information will significantly expand the resource in our next estimate update. Definition drilling continues to be encouraging, with the current holes confirming original zones found in the wider spaced drilling. We will continue our aggressive exploration program and initial engineering studies to enable us to fast-track the development of this deposit.”
