TomaGold Corporation (TSXV:LOT) announced that it will commence a 2,000-metre drilling program in late May on its Winchester property, immediately south-southwest of the Monster Lake property near Quebec’s Chibougamau mining camp.

As quoted in the press release:

The goal of the program is to use the knowledge gained at Monster Lake to test the lateral and depth extensions of Structure 86, which has not yet been drilled at depth. The drilling program will take place in parallel with any prospecting and stripping work called for.

TomaGold Corporation President and Chief Executive Officer, David Grondin, said:

We are excited to be starting drilling on our wholly-owned Winchester property. The advantage of Structure 86, which has been intersected over a length of 80 metres, is that it is located on the same gold corridor as the 325 zone at Monster Lake. Very little work has been done on this property in the past, and in light of previous results and the results obtained at Monster Lake, it has excellent discovery potential.
