Technical Review to Begin on Sabina Gold & Silver’s Back River Project
Sabina Gold & Silver Corp. (TSX:SBB) announced that the Nunavut Impact Review Board believes the environmental impact statement for the company’s Back River Draft project “conforms with the environmental assessment guidelines.”

(TSX:SBB) announced that the Nunavut Impact Review Board believes the environmental impact statement for the company’s Back River project “conforms with the environmental assessment guidelines.” At this point, a technical review intended to analyze “the quality of the information presented on the potential effects of the project” will begin.
As quoted in the press release:
The various steps in the technical review process involve receiving comments and questions from all parties, communities and constituents, responding with clarification, and developing processes to address concerns and requirements for inclusion in the Final Environmental Impact Statement (‘FEIS’). The technical review period should be completed and technical meetings commenced sometime in the second half of 2014.
