Samaranta Mining Corporation (CVE:SAX) announced its acquisition of 80% of the Guinea-based Siguiri property.

Samaranta Mining Corporation (TSXV:SAX) announced its acquisition of 80% of the Guinea-based Siguiri property.

The press release is quoted as saying:

The vendor has reported that the Property has had previous work completed on it consisting of geochemical sampling, and test pits up to several meters in depth. Samaranta is in the process of obtaining detailed assays for this sampling.

Samaranta’s President and CEO, Volkmar Hable said:

“Our core focus continues to be the development of our Colombian gold assets, but the Siguiri Property provided us an exceptional opportunity we could not decline.”
