Roxgold is Top Overall Performing Company in TSX Venture 50 for 2012

Roxgold Inc. (TSXV:ROG) has been ranked as the top overall performing company in the TSX Venture 50® for 2012.

On February 15, 2012 Roxgold was recognized as a TSX Venture 50® company for 2012. TSX Venture 50® is a trade-mark of TSX Inc. and is used under license. The TSX Venture 50® are the top 10 companies listed on the TSX Venture Exchange, in each of five major industry sectors – mining, oil & gas, technology & life sciences, diversified industries, and clean technology based on a ranking formula with equal weighting given to return on investment, market cap growth, trading volume and analyst coverage. All data was as of December 31, 2011.

The recognition of Roxgold as a TSX Venture 50® company for 2012 complements the Company’s earlier achievement of being named to the S&P/TSX Venture 30 Index on February 10, 2012. The S&P/TSX Venture 30 Index, which is calculated and managed by Standard & Poor’s is designed to measure the performance of 30 of the largest and most liquid securities in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index.
