The intensive leach reactor system Consep Acacia CS250 for the high-efficiency concentrated treatment was manufactured more quickly than expected and will be delivered by sea and land in November and December. Civil work is planned during this period to allow installation from the arrival of the reactor and other equipment. The 3rd Knelson concentrator is in transit and should be shipped by the end of November.
An expert in process and metallurgy firm is currently working on the final validation process integrating three hubs, 2 mills and the reactor. The commissioning period is still scheduled for the 1st quarter of 2017 and could be accelerated in the early weeks of January if all deliveries are on schedule. The work is planned to disrupt at least the current plant operations and minimize as much as possible the inevitable cessation of production to refurbish according to the new equipment.
