Komet Resources Gold Production Increases More Than 90% in Q3 2016

Quebec, November 4, 2016 – The Komet Resources Inc. (TSXV:KMT) ( “Komet” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce a significant jump in production and sales in the 3rd quarter of 2016 and in September in particular.

Quebec, November 4, 2016 – The Komet Resources Inc. (TSXV:KMT) ( “Komet” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce a significant jump in production and sales in the 3rd quarter of 2016 and in September in particular.

The raw gold (average 91%) produced by the mine guiro during this period represents nearly 23.5 kilograms (828 ounces), of which 10.6 kilograms (374 ounces) in September. These results represent an increase of over 90% compared to the previous quarter.

Q3 gold sales also increased significantly totaling an amount of 1,163,938 CAD, compared to 383 164 CAD in the first quarter and 658 586 CAD in the second quarter.

Work to mine Guiro
The intensive leach reactor system Consep Acacia CS250 for the high-efficiency concentrated treatment was manufactured more quickly than expected and will be delivered by sea and land in November and December. Civil work is planned during this period to allow installation from the arrival of the reactor and other equipment. The 3rd Knelson concentrator is in transit and should be shipped by the end of November.

An expert in process and metallurgy firm is currently working on the final validation process integrating three hubs, 2 mills and the reactor. The commissioning period is still scheduled for the 1st quarter of 2017 and could be accelerated in the early weeks of January if all deliveries are on schedule. The work is planned to disrupt at least the current plant operations and minimize as much as possible the inevitable cessation of production to refurbish according to the new equipment.
