Klondex Mines Ltd. (TSX:KDX,OTCQX:KLNDF) announced additions to the management team: at Fire Creek, in Lander County, Nevada, Dr. Shuai Chen joins Klondex as Chief Engineer, Lucy Downer joins as Environmental Manager, and Bryan Ouellette is named Safety and Projects Foreman. In Toronto, Alison Tullis joins Klondex as Manager, Investor Relations.
As quoted in the press release:
Paul Huet, Klondex President and CEO stated, “I’m happy to announce these additions to our team as Fire Creek moves towards the planned bulk sample later this year. I am confident that the team we are building onsite can deliver on our goal to be a successful gold producer in Nevada, and adding a presence in Toronto will be key to enhancing our current investor relations program and profile.”
He continued, “Bryan is very familiar with Nevada’s gold mines and his experience will allow him to develop industry best standards that will keep our miners healthy, safe and accident free. Lucy was also an easy choice, as she comes highly recommended and knows the project well through her active involvement in Fire Creek’s successful permitting program while working as a project lead with our environmental consultant. She will be instrumental in our effort to maintain exemplary permitting and compliance with Nevada and US regulators. Having an opportunity to work with Dr. Shuai Chen again is rewarding; Dr Chen is very familiar with narrow vein mining methods as well as Nevada ground conditions and was key to the success of both the Hollister and Midas Mines. I am confident that teamed with Mike Doolin, our General Manager, he will make significant contributions to Fire Creek’s success.”
