Integra Gold Intersects 12.86 g/t Gold Over 6 Meters at Triangle Zone
Integra Gold Corp. (TSXV:ICG,OTCQX:ICGQF) announced final drill results from the winter/spring Triangle drill program at its Quebec-based Lamaque South gold project.
Integra Gold Corp. (TSXV:ICG,OTCQX:ICGQF) announced final drill results from the winter/spring Triangle drill program at its Quebec-based Lamaque South gold project.
Highlights include:
- Results continue to provide confidence in the lateral continuity of the steeply dipping C4 mineralized structure at the Triangle Zone (“Triangle”) with step-out drilling over 125 metres (“m”) east of the existing resource limit intersecting 12.86 grams per tonne gold (“g/t Au”) over 6.0 m in hole TM-15-22
- Significant mineralization reported in the sub-parallel steeply dipping C2 structure (located 300m up-strike from C4) with intercept of 13.95 g/t Au over 6.0 m reported in hole TM-15-22, again outlining the potential for additional, sizeable mineralized horizons at Triangle
- Newly interpreted, sub-parallel and steeply dipping C5 mineralized structure occurring 100 m stratigraphically below the C4 structure; multiple previously disclosed holes piercing the structure with intercepts including 19.30 g/t Au over 8.0 m and 8.47 g/t Au over 8.5 m, the C5 Zone is open in all directions (see link to C5 vertical long section)
- 2015 drill program at Triangle re-initiated with an additional 40,000 m planned during the fall with up to five diamond drill rigs operating bringing the total meterage for the South Lamaque Project for the year to an estimated 90,000 to 100,000 m
Stephen de Jong, president and CEO of Integra, commented:
Drilling at Triangle consistently exceeds our expectations and the zone continues to show significant potential to grow. The steeply dipping “C” structures have expanded well beyond the limits of the intrusive host rock and previous resource estimate boundaries while, as predicted by our geological model, additional, sub-parallel and steeper “C” types structures, such as the C5 Zone, continue to be discovered. 3D modelling in preparation for an updated resource estimate at Triangle is progressing well and we expect to deliver the new resource estimate on Triangle in early Q4. The Company will be announcing plans for its 2016 drill program in the coming months as well as an update on surface preparation work and permitting for the Triangle decline which is progressing well.
