TomaGold Corp. (TSXV:LOT) announced that IAMGOLD Corp. (TSX:IMG,NYSE:IAG) plans to start a new drill program at the Quebec-based Monster Lake project before the end of September.
As quoted in the press release:

As access conditions permit, additional holes will be drilled around hole 147 which intersected in the north extension of the Monster Lake Shear Zone 3.41 metres grading 4.51 g/t gold and 10.72 metres grading 3.64 g/t gold in the last winter drilling program. The program will also test, for the first time, priority targets on the Lac-à-l’Eau-Jaune property, which is adjacent to Monster Lake and situated on a parallel structure. This new drilling program is a follow-up to the mapping, geophysics and trenching (results pending) campaign completed during the summer of 2015.
The program will be carried out using two diamond drill rigs and is expected to be completed by end of November.

David Grondin, president and CEO of TomaGold, commented:

We are very pleased to have a partner such as IAMGOLD, which has made a commitment to continue exploration work on Monster Lake and its adjoining properties despite difficult market conditions. We remain very optimistic about the gold potential of our properties, as only a small portion has been explored and we are eager to see the results of this new drilling program.
