Golden Touch Resources Corp. (TSXV:GOT) announced that Mr. Ken Chapple has been appointed as the Company’s President and Chief Executive Officer with immediate effect.
As quoted in the press release:
Ken Chapple was appointed a director of the Company on July 1, 2011 and became a fulltime executive director on September 1, 2011. Ken is a geologist with over 40 years of experience in the exploration of gold and base metal projects. He was executive director with Gold Anomaly (formerly Gold Aura) Limited, an ASX listed company, exploring for gold in Brazil, Papua New Guinea and Australia from 2002 until recently. Ken was responsible for managing significant gold projects in each of the above noted countries.
Golden Touch Resources President, Mr. Chapple stated:
“I look forward to leading the Golden Touch executive team that not only has outstanding people, but also three exceptional mineral properties. We have just completed the first stage of drilling at the Rubik Gold Project and I am very impressed with what I see there. Whilst some of the drilling results have been released, further results are pending over the next two months. During the remainder of 2011, we are planning a geophysical survey designed to provide targets to guide a second phase of drilling at the Gold project and we are also planning a first stage drilling program on the Company’s Platinum project. Our third project, the Kukes Chromite Project, which like the first two, is controlled 100%, by Golden Touch Resources.”
