Gold value softens as dollar edges higher

On Thursday, Gold value edged lower in Europe as the dollar firmed against the euro.

The press release is quoted as saying:

Spot gold was bid at $1,107.90 an ounce at 1010 GMT, against $1,107.85 late in New York on Wednesday. U.S. gold futures for April delivery on the COMEX division of the New York Mercantile Exchange rose 10 cents to $1,108.20.
