Gold Prices Up Following News of Spain Line of Credit

MarketWatch reported that gold prices approached $1600 as Spain announced 1 billion euros in financial aid for its banking system.

As quoted in the market news:

Gold for August delivery was up 0.4%, or $7.20, at $1,598.60 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Stock Exchange during European trading hours.
