Calibre Mining Corp. (CVE:CXB) announced the appointment of Mr. George Salamis as Director of the Company.
The press release is quoted as saying:
Mr. Salamis has over 20 years of experience in mineral exploration, mine development and operations and is currently President and CEO of Edgewater Exploration Ltd. a TSX Venture-listed mineral exploration company. Mr. Salamis has previously held senior management positions with a number of mining companies including Placer Dome Inc. and Cameco Corporation.
Calibre Mining Corp.’s Chairman, Douglas Forster stated:
“We are very pleased to have Mr. Salamis join the Board of Calibre Mining. George has a proven track record in advancing development-stage resource assets and in exploring precious metal projects throughout the world. George’s knowledge and experience will be a great asset to the Company as we advance our Borosi gold-silver project in Nicaragua.”
