Brigus Gold one step closer to underground commercial production

Brigus Gold Corp. is well on its way toward commerical production from its underground oeprations at its Black Fox Mine about 75 kilometres east of Timmins.

Northern Ontario Business news is quoted as saying:

The construction of a new portal and ramp access is expected to be completed by March 24, 2011. Production output from the underground will begin at 250 tpd by March 15th and ramp up to 800 tpd in the second quarter of 2011 toward an output goal of 1,100 tpd by the fourth quarter of this year.
