Banyan Gold Corp. (TSXV:BYN) announced it has closed its previously announced non-brokered private placement, subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval. Banyan has raised a total of $200,000 by issuing four million units at five cents per unit. Directors and officers of Banyan participated by acquiring 1.3 million units, or $65,000, and, after closing, will hold approximately 32.9 per cent of the shares outstanding.
