Alacer Gold Corp Intends to Divest Australian Assets

Alacer Gold Corp. (TSX:ASR,ASX:AQG) announces today that  it intends to  look at the possibility of selling its Australian assets.

As quoted in the press release:

The timing and outcome of any sale is uncertain. Alacer will keep the market informed of material developments.

Alacer’s President and CEO, David Quinlivan, said:

Alacer has recently received confidential, non-binding expressions of interest from several parties interested in purchasing its Australian assets. The sale of the Australian assets would enable the company to focus on its high margin operations and exploration activities at its world class Çöpler Mine in Turkey.
