Pinetree Capital Acquires Securities of Latin American Minerals

(TSX:PNP),reported that, through a series of transactions ending on April 13, 2010, it acquired ownership of 1,648,000 common shares of Latin American Minerals Inc. through the facilities of the TSX Venture Exchange, representing approximately 2.2% of the total issued and outstanding common shares of Latin American as at April 13, 2010.
