Sheri Strickland, spokeswoman for the Department of Natural Resources, says along with Sparton, Ucore Uranium of British Columbia has also pulled out of New Brunswick.

Harmen Keyser, VP of project development with Ucore Uranium says:

We spent about $150,000 in the province over the last year, and most of that went to New Brunswick contractors and suppliers.”  “We’re not doing anything else until we have a chance to review how this is going to affect our rights and titles and obligations.”
