Peru Stocks: Metals Gain, Mining Companies Advance

Bloomberg reports the Lima General Index gained 1 percent and the MSCI All Peru Capped Index rose again.

The market news is quoted as saying,

Mining companies gained after metals prices advanced. Volcan Cia. Minera SAA (VOLCABC1 PE), Peru’s largest zinc producer, gained 2.4 percent to 3 soles. Panoro Minerals Ltd. (PML) , a Canadian exploration company, climbed 2.2 percent to 46 cents. Minsur SA (MINSURI1)(MINSURI1 PE), the world’s fourth-largest tin producer, rose 2.5 percent to 3.23 soles.
