The market news is quoted as saying,

PT Timah (TINS IJ), Indonesia’s biggest tin producer, plunged 9.1 percent to 1,700 rupiah, the lowest close since May 5, 2009. Eko Maulana Ali, governor of the Indonesian province of Bangka Belitung, will meet tin producers tonight to discuss the recent decline and will seek a halt in exports to support prices, according to Rudy Irawan, deputy chairman of the Indonesian Tin Industry Association. Futures on the London Metal Exchange slumped 13 percent last week.
