Indonesia Earthquake Leaves Mining Industry Unaffected

Reuters reported on the base metals industry noting an earthquake in Indonesia that killed five people does not seem to have affected the mining industry.

As quoted in the market news:

An official at Indonesia’s largest tin miner PT Timah, which has both on-shore and off-shore minng rights around the Bangka-Belitung islands, off the opposite coast of Sumatra, said operations were unaffected.
