Commodities: Base Metals Rise On Housing Recovery

Bloomberg reported on commodities trading Tuesday as base metals rose nearly across the board on signs the housing market is in recovery.

As quoted in the market news:

On the London Metal Exchange, copper for delivery in three months rose 1 percent to $7,585 a metric ton ($3.44 a pound). s Nickel, zinc, tin and lead rose, while aluminum was little changed.
