In 2010, Bolivia was the world’s six-largest tin producer according to the tin industry monitoring group ITRI.
Vicstar Union Engineering, a venture formed by China’s Shenzhen Vicstar Imp. & Exp. Co. and Yantai Design and Research Engineering Co. Ltd of Shandong Gold Group, will build the new plant near the Huanuni plant, Bolivia’s mining ministry said in a statement.
