Chile Mine Supports Copper But U.S. Debt Talks Eyed

Reuters reports that copper rose while other base metals fell on concern that the US will not control the nation’s debt.

The market news is quoted as saying,

Tin , which hovered below a two-month high hit on Wednesday, was at$28,895 a tonne from $28,745 while zinc , used in galvanizing steel traded at $2,514 from $2,521 a tonne.
