Sentiment Remains Positive Despite Holiday Shutdowns in Spot Molybdenum Oxide Market

Platts reported that despite thin trading in the Asian markets over the holidays, sentiment in the spot molybdenum oxide market was positive.

As quoted in the market report:

One South Korean moly oxide buyer said his price idea was $11.80/lb CIF Busan while a supplier wanted to sell at $12/lb or more. Platts daily moly oxide dealer price has been at $11.50-11.70/lb since December 27.
