Japan’s Moly Demand Rises on Tepco Plans for Thermal Power Generation

Platts reported that Japan is demanding more molybdenum as it tries to fulfill the need for thermal power generation.

The market news is quoted as saying:

Production of superalloy plates used for gas turbines has started this month in western Japan, for the turbines to be operational by July, according to one steel mill source.
