Grupo Mexico Reports Mixed Bag of Metals Production in 2Q, 1H

Mineweb reported that production of some metals has increased at Grupo Mexico’s (PINK:GMBXF) mines, but it is also paying a windfall tax.

The market news is quoted as saying:

Molybdenum dropped 18% during the second quarter of the year to 4,502 metric tons, compared to 5,510 tons reported during the same period of last year. The decrease was attributed to lower ores grades at mines in Peru and lower recoveries at Toquepala.
