Desert Mines and Metals Returns High-grade Moly from Daehwa
Desert Mines and Metals Ltd. (ASX:DSN) announced that further sampling of selected intervals from three 2012 diamond drill holes at its South Korea-based Daehwa project returned multiple intervals of medium- to high-grade (0.1 to 2 percent molybdenum) over narrow down-hole widths (0.4 to 2 meters).
Other highlights include:
- Multiple intervals of medium to high grade (0.1-2.0% Mo) over narrow down hole widths (0.4-2m). This is consistent with the type of mineralisation mined in the historic workings located above the drill intercepts; and,
- Multiple intervals of slightly broader low grade molybdenum mineralisation (0.05% – 0.1% Mo) over 2-7m downhole widths.
- Several intercepts returned elevated Cu (0.05-0.4%)Â values over down hole widths of 1 to 2m.
- Local elevated W (0.04-0.3%) values were reported from several intercepts over down hole widths of 1 to 2m.
